PRESS TOUR ON THE ROAD

Making Movies’ feature film BLUE BABY (Hetki ennen valoa), directed by Klaus Härö, is heading on a press tour across Finland ahead of its domestic theatrical release on 11 September 2026.

Director Klaus Härö, actors Oona Airola and Laura Birn, producer Kai Nordberg, and other members of the filmmaking team will meet audiences at a series of special preview screenings around the country in the coming weeks.

The tour continues on 26 August in Joensuu and Savonlinna, followed by screenings in Helsinki, Porvoo, Hyvinkää, Riihimäki, Hämeenlinna, Mäntsälä, Kerava, Karjaa, Tammisaari, Hanko, Oulu and several other cities. On 29 August, BLUE BABY will also be presented at Sensommar Film Fest, with Klaus Härö, screenwriters Jimmy Karlsson and Kirsi Vikman, and Laura Birn attending.

BLUE BABY is a drama about two women, motherhood and a fragile new life in the midst of a healthcare crisis and nurses’ strike. The film stars Laura Birn, Oona Airola and Jussi Vatanen.

Produced by Making Movies, BLUE BABY opens in cinemas across Finland on 11 September 2026.
