Amos, 9, wants to stop time because the school is about to start and he can’t read and because the things between his dad and the rest of family are not what they used to be. Benjamin, 9, is Amos’s best friend, who’s lost his father. At nights the boys climb up on the roof and watch stars. Benjamin tells Amos that the great Einstein taught that if you fly fast enough the time moves slower and eventually stops. Amos learns how to fly to space and stop time. And in space he meets the Black Hole who wants to suck in everything – the innocence of the family as well as Amos’s toys. But even when one stops the time, is there really going back to one’s past.
