THE DOMESTIC TEASER TRAILER FOR BLUE BABY, THE NEW FEATURE FILM BY ACCLAIMED FINNISH DIRECTOR KLAUS HÄRÖ, HAS BEEN RELEASED.

Starring Laura Birn, Oona Airola, and Jussi Vatanen, Blue Baby is a powerful and emotionally charged drama set against the backdrop of a healthcare system under strain. The film will premiere theatrically in Finland on September 11th of 2026.

Blue Baby (FIN title: Hetki ennen valoa) follows a critical encounter in a hospital intensive care unit, where specialist nurse Inka is confronted with the parents of a newborn rushed into emergency care. As nurses prepare for strike action amid an escalating healthcare crisis, the need for care does not stop. The film explores responsibility, vulnerability, and human connection at a moment when personal and societal pressures collide.

Known for his humane storytelling and moral clarity, Klaus Härö returns with a deeply affecting contemporary drama that examines the cost of care, both for those who give it and those who desperately need it.
