Joonas Rutanen’s I Love Anna selected to the National Competition at Tampere Film Festival


The latest Making Movies short film production I Love Anna (Rakastan Annaa), directed by Joonas Rutanen, is selected to the National Competition at the oldest and largest short film festival in Northern Europe, 46th Tampere Film Festival 2016!

I Love Anna (Rakastan Annaa) is a short film about teenage friendship. Santeri (13) looks on older boys driving and tuning their motorbikes. He combs his hair and goes to see her friend Anna (13). At Anna’s home childhood’s anarchy meets puberty.

Joonas Rutanen is Helsinki-based director-screenwriter. Rutanen has graduated from Turku Arts Academy´s film department in 2011. His short film On Your Lips won the Kettu award for the best short film at the Helsinki Short Film Festival 2013.
