
Knock, Knock
Leila is a recently divorced woman, who’s husband’s gone and their apartment’s been sold. She looks around the empty rooms and finds it difficult to understand that this is her life.
17-years old Sami is taken to a mental hospital. Sami’s new roommate Rudolf would prefer staying at the hospital for good. A strange relationship develops between the two boys.
Sami doesn’t talk or show his feelings. Sami’s mother does not accept that her son was involuntarily taken from her. Sami would certainly be much better at home.
A dedicated nurse, Taneli takes effort to reach Sami and find out what has caused his illness.
Homesick is a film about vulnerability, care and hope.
