MY SAILOR, MY LOVE OPENS IN THE US CINEMAS THIS FRIDAY
MY SAILOR, MY LOVE PREMIERES IN THE UNITED STATES ON SEPTEMBER 22. THE FILM IS DISTRIBUTED BY MUSICBOX FILMS.
“My Sailor, My Love” continues reaching new audiences all around the world. The film has been sold e.g. for UK Netflix, Spain, Australia, Ireland, Great Britain, Germany and after New Zealand, it's time for the US theatrical premiere. According to the distribution company Music Box’s representative, Brian Andreoti, “My Sailor, My Love has great potential, especially among older audiences. More than 32 million Irish-Americans live in the United States, who are a strong target group," says Andreotti.
In Finland, My Sailor, My Love gathered more than 120,000 viewers in cinemas. The world premiere of My Sailor, My Love was at the Toronto International Film Festival and the US premiere at the Chicago International Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award for Best International Film. This year My Sailor, My Love was awarded with the Best Irish Film Award at The Dublin International Film Festival (DIFF).
